On Tuesday April 25th at 19h will take place in Tonalá Tijuana cinema the presentation of the book SOFT FICTION. POLÍTICAS VISUALES DE LA EMOCIONALIDAD, LA MEMORIA Y EL DESEO, written by the doctor Virginia Villaplana Ruiz.

 

This researching is a tribute to Chick Strand's cinematographic work (San Francisco, 1931-2009). In 1979, the filmmaker Chick Strand filmed the 16mm ethnographic film Soft Fiction.

A film which breaks out the narrative cliches of women and images about erotic and sexual fantasies.
