Socially Engaged Art Practices: New Models of Sustainability in Contemporary Art
Workshop of social practices is an initiative by Vessel that will take place in Bari from the 11th to 23rd of November at Progetto Mondialità. The project is realized by the Laboratori dal Basso program promoted by Puglia Regional Council; it consists of two weeks of seminars and workshops free of charge and open to the public.
Workshop of social practices starts from the desire to investigate the ways and methodologies through which collaborative, process-based and dialogical practices are applied by cultural practitioners and the civil society within context of crisis and discomfort, as well as to observe the impact of these participative and collective processes within micro-contexts.
